Dr Sean Robinson Smith, MD


Dr. Smith is board-certified in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and is the Medical Director of Cancer Rehabilitation at the University of Michigan Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation in Ann Arbor, Michigan, USA. 


Evaluating and managing functional impairments in patients with a history of cancer, including: 

  • Performance of chronic GVHD patients in inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation settings,
  • Validating rapid and accurate assessment tools to screen oncology patients for rehabilitation needs,
  • Developing multi-center research collaboration between Cancer Rehabilitation programs to share common data elements.
